Raising funds for the PANDAS Foundation
Congratulations to two past pupils from St Augustine’s Priory, Ewa Mahon (née Urban) and Prizzi Zarsadias, who recently ran the Ealing Half Marathon which took place on Sunday 27th September, raising funds for the PANDAS Foundation. They ran the half marathon in memory of Emily Tsang (née Chiu) their friend and classmate at St Augustine’s Priory, who passed away in March this year.
Ewa writes about her and Prizzi’s experience of running the half marathon,
‘The half marathon was excellent; Prizzi and I both finished and the atmosphere was really special. So many people supporting everyone along the way, having mini street parties in their front gardens, playing music and shouting encouragement, it really made me feel like I want to move back to Ealing!’
PANDAS website says, ‘PANDAS is the leading UK charity in supporting families suffering from pre (antenatal) and postnatal illnesses. PANDAS’ vision is to support every individual, family and carer suffering with perinatal mental health illnesses. We campaign to raise awareness and remove the stigma. We provide our PANDAS Help Line, Support Groups, and online advice to all and much more.’
