Our Inspirational Curriculum

We are human beings in a digital world and creating a curriculum that prepares students for the future in every respect has never mattered more.

We want the students to be ready for the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. This means preparing students for a digital age where they are creators, not just users of technology. It means that we actively promote all aspects of learning about emotional intelligence, mental health and the ways in which Inclusion, Diversity and Equity will now shape the world. It gives a primacy to skills needed for human beings to live alongside robots. It wraps up our work on sustainability in every sense. It is an irresistible part of our work.

As a Catholic school we believe that every child is created in the image of God and is unique. A Catholic approach to education has always enshrined the beauty of care for the the whole person. And so ancient teachings meet the demands of the 21st Century with profound meaning.

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
