A Summer’s Ball in Syon Park
Upper VI leavers mark the end of their school days
On Friday 3rd July the Upper VI marked the end of their A Level examinations and the end of their school days at St Augustine’s Priory with a Summer Ball at the Hilton Hotel in Syon Park. They had invited last year’s Upper VI and next year’s Upper VI together with staff and other friends to enjoy the evening with them. It was an evening which had been brilliantly organised by Upper VI, spearheaded by Kiranjeet Sandhu.

The Summer Ball was thoroughly enjoyed by all, with a delicious meal, dancing (some extremely eccentric dance floor moves were observed) and a very popular photo booth.
Some of our leavers had been at St Augustine’s Priory since Prep I, their very first days at school, others had joined in Form III and still others in the Sixth Form.

As part of the evening the Upper VI leavers eloquently and movingly delivered speeches paying tribute to St Augustine’s Priory, its staff and pupils.
Although leaving St Augustine’s Priory to embrace their future, we will not say goodbye to these young women, for they will always be Augustinians.
