Rounders, tea and balloons
The Upper VI celebrate their final day
Friday 22nd May was Upper VI’s final day of lessons before their A Levels and they commemorated the day in style. At lunchtime, dressed in fancy dress costumes, they challenged staff to a rounders match (the staff won 15 – 8) and, following this, the girls and staff enjoyed afternoon tea after which balloons were released and photographs posed for.
After sitting their A Levels the Upper VI can look forward to further celebrations with the Upper VI Leavers’ Mass on 24th June, their eagerly anticipated Summer Ball and, in September, their Progression Dinner.
Several of our Upper VI students have been at St Augustine’s Priory since Prep I, others joined in Form III and others joined us for the Sixth Form. But whenever they joined us, all the girls have proved themselves to be great Augustinians and, as they prepare for their examinations, we wish our Upper VI students every success.
