Priory Post 25 – Cross-Country

Posted: 19th August 2015

Congratulations to all our girls who took part in the Ealing Cross Country Championships on Thursday 2nd October.  The results were great – well done to all who took part!

We took girls from Upper II who took part in the Years 5 and 6 race, Lower IV, who competed in the Years 7 and 8 race and Upper IV and Lower V who competed in the Years 9 and 10 race.

The results were as follows:

In the Years 5 and 6 race Grace Aimable-Lina finished in eighth place and Lucy Phillips finished in nineteenth place.

In the Years 7 and 8 race Olivia Agrotis finished eleventh and Molly Pollock, twenty-fifth.

Finally, in the Years 9 and 10 race Cecilia Marston finished seventh, Helena Trickey was in fourteenth place, Charlotte Higham finished twentieth and Eve Burgess-Moloney finished in twenty-first place.

These are wonderful results, not forgetting that in the race involving Years 5 and 6 there were approximately 120 runners, in the Years 7 and 8 race there were approximately 100 runners and in the Years 9 and 10 race there were approximately 50 runners.

Miss Lymburn and Miss Hales look forward to the second round of races on Thursday 9th October when places at the London Youth Games will be decided!
