March against Climate Change…

CAFOD writes: ‘World leaders, led by UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, will meet for an historic climate change summit in New York on Tuesday 23rd September. In the lead up to the climate change summit we’ll be marching through Westminster with other members of The Climate Coalition.
In the UK, we’ll be marking the day with a huge march in London. We’ll be starting at Temple Place and finishing outside the Houses of Parliament, with a massive group photo. From 2.30pm onwards there will be guest speakers, a giant interactive video installation and space for reflection and prayer.
Climate change threatens everything we love, and all that you’ve helped us to achieve in the fight against poverty. That’s why we’re calling on politicians to take action on climate change.
Don’t forget to bring along your loved ones too. The more people who take part, the more the politicians will take note.’
