A Level Spanish students visit the BFI

Friday 24th June saw the A Level Spanish students visit the British Film Institute for a study day on the Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar, ‘Almodóvar on the Edge – All about His Films’

Here is an account of the day from several of the students involved.  In case there are any readers whose Spanish is not up to A Level standard, we have helpfully provided a translation under each comment!

(Afterwards, we had an interesting talk about the film, which was very useful given that we shared our thoughts about the film).

(In summary, the day helped me to improve my listening skills since throughout most of the day Spanish was predominantly spoken. Not only that, but I also learnt new things about Spanish cinema).
