Mr S Charlton.
Joining St Augustine’s Priory at the start of this term, we are delighted that Mr S Charlton is a member of the English Department, teaching English Literature to the Seniors. He regards ‘intellectual curiosity and determination as high values in education’ and supports these intrinsic values of St Augustine’s Priory and he also finds that pupils here have a real respect towards each other and towards staff.
His most recent teaching post was in Medway and he holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of East Anglia and a PGCE gained at Canterbury.
Outside school, Mr Charlton enjoys writing – something which should feed beautifully into his work here!
