Junior Maths Week.
Earlier in May Nursery to Upper II embarked on an enhanced exploration of Mathematics. Ms Gambrill, Mathematics Coordinator for the Juniors, relates the work that went on throughout the Junior School:
‘During the first half of May the Junior, Prep and Nursery pupils celebrated Maths Week. The main aims of the week are to promote Mathematics as a multifaceted subject which can be learnt in a variety of ways. Our girls participated in many activities including :-
- A ‘code breaking’ workshop (provided by the ‘Happy Puzzle Company’) where they learnt the importance of collaboration and resilience in problem solving;
- ‘No Pen Tuesday’ where they abandoned traditional methods of learning concepts and completed practical activities.
- Prep classes competed in a number bond quiz and Juniors in a times table competition. A big congratulations to our winners:-

Upper I- Jane Tang

- And last but not least, who could forget the Maths dress up day which was excellent fun!!
