An Advent Journey.
The Nursery at St Augustine’s Priory has begun to celebrate Christmas with a vengeance. Pupils have been decorating their classroom with all manner of trees and ornaments and on Wednesday 1st December they performed their Nativity play with their usual energy and enthusiasm. The cast of Mary, Joseph, shepherds, angels and kings entranced their audience and this event has certainly ensured that the Christmas celebrations at St Augustine’s Priory are off to a great start!
As Ms Nikolova reports, ‘It has been an exciting week for the Nursery children. The have performed their first ever Nativity and worked hard to decorate the Nursery for this special event. The girls enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree, painted beautiful pictures of the nativity characters and spent an unhurried time at various Christmas experiences. The Christmas jumper day was a great finish of a very jolly week.’
