Cross Country and Netball.
Mrs Gosling reports on some sporting news from last weekend in both cross country and netball:
‘In the regional round of the English Schools Cross Country Cup which took place last Saturday in St Albans, our inter girls’ squad acquitted themselves well. Seven girls from Upper IV and Lower V competed with girls from across London. This was a challenging course and all the girls performed well, with Isobel our top finisher in 30th place.
Last Sunday, we competed in the Middlesex Round of the National Schools Tournament with our U16 netball team. Our team played with passion and amazing team work and finished joint first in their group after being tied on points but went through second on goal difference. In the semi-finals they played an excellent team from Godolphin and Latymer team and on this occasion lost out to them.
We are delighted with such a great result from our Priory Netball Academy players, who showcased some outstanding performances.’
