Hi-5 Netball Tournament.

Mrs Gosling, Head of PE, reports on the Hi-5 Netball Tournament held on Tuesday 5th October at St Augustine’s Priory.

‘The sun was shining on the Astroturf, ready to welcome many schools from the local community to the St Augustine’s Priory Hi-5 Tournament. Oh, how we have missed these occasions full of smiling children running around and playing sport. It really was a brilliant morning.

We welcomed teams from Years 5 and 6 from St Mary’s Chiswick, St Mark’s, St Joseph’s and St Gregory’s as well as having many teams representing St Augustine’s Priory. We were also represented brilliantly by some Upper IV pupils who coached our teams and umpired the matches. This leadership experience is invaluable and they represented the school fantastically.

It was brilliant to see all the pupils improve throughout the tournament and enjoy being on court and playing in a fixture. Something we have sorely missed throughout recent times!

In a closely fought tournament with many goals being scored the U10 runners up were St Augustine’s A team and the victors St Mark’s and the U11 runners up were St Joseph’s with St Mary’s Chiswick winning – both  winners were undefeated.

Congratulations to all the teams who took part  – we can’t wait for our quick sticks tournament in March!’

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
