Open Day Michaelmas 2021

St Augustine’s Priory open its doors.

We were delighted to welcome over 170 families to St Augustine’s Priory on Saturday 25th September for our Michaelmas Term Open Day. It was wonderful to see so many people who came to sample all our school has to offer.

St Augustine’s Priory students guided groups of families around the school to visit subject areas where teachers and pupils were eager to talk about and demonstrate their subjects.  One teacher commented, ‘the girls were so professional!’  From Art to Science and from Geography to R.E., all subjects were available for our visitors to see.

In Music there was even an impromptu ukulele ensemble as Mrs Warren, our Junior Music teacher, distributed ukuleles to a somewhat astonished, but delighted, group.  The resulting musical rendition was quite something!

Visits to the Priory Farm were included in the tours and afterwards our guests enjoyed refreshments in the rose garden where they were able to mingle with staff who were available to answer any questions.

This was a wonderful occasion and such a joyful day!
