Seniors enjoy PE via Zoom!

Posted: 5th March 2021

An afternoon of netball.

Lower V pupil, Naomi, reports on some St David’s Day intense netball activity via Zoom!

‘On Monday 1st March Juniors and Seniors alike retrieved their trainers from the back of their wardrobes together with their netballs to join Jamaican International and London Pulse Player, Adean Thomas, for an interactive zoom session.

We started off with a dynamic warm up and then some footwork patterns. Adean’s footwork really challenged us and definitely blew away some cobwebs in preparation for the return to school! We then moved on to some ball work which I personally really enjoyed as it was nice to get the ball moving again.

At the end we had some time for questions, which gave us an insight into what it takes to get to Adean’s level and how she’s been coping with the lockdown. Both my sister and I really enjoyed the session and would definitely participate again if given the chance. Thank you very much to the PE department for this brilliant opportunity!’

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
