Ealing Wildlife Group.
During Half Term we learnt of the exciting news that Ahilya in Lower IV has been awarded third place in the Young Wildlife Explorers category in the Ealing Wildlife Group photography competition!
This is a wonderful achievement and Ahilya is to be congratulated on a wonderful photograph of a robin in full song. The caption to the photograph reads, ‘This robin was singing his heart out! There were many robins in the Soane gardens in Walpole Park and it just shows that robins can live alongside humans and still thrive.’
The aim of the competition was to ‘highlight the wonderful nature and wild spaces on our doorstep, celebrating the important relationships between people and local wildlife in Ealing.’
Ahilya’s photograph is currently being displayed in Walpole Park together with the other winning photographs and will be there for the next six – eight weeks. Do please visit and see Ahilya’s beautiful photograph at first hand.
