Upper I explores ‘Treasure Island’

Posted: 13th February 2020

‘Avast Ye, shipmates!’

Upper I’s interpretation of ‘Treasure Island’ on 5th February was a feast of piracy, treasure hunting and a display of enormous and infectious enthusiasm!

This was a tremendously enjoyable production which was a wonderful example of ensemble playing and teamwork, involving the Upper II Drama monitors who performed their duties with care and panache.

Directed  by Miss Wiley with musical direction from Miss Westley this was a seamless showcase of the talents of Upper I.  The acting was superb, the action was relentless with joyous choral singing and dancing and there was even a fight scene thrown in!

The applause was deafening at the end of this show – this was definitely an evening to remember!
