Careers Speakers

Posted: 13th September 2019

The Michaelmas Term programme.

This term sees a varied selection of Careers Speakers covering a wide selection of careers visiting St Augustine’s Priory.  On 19th September the programme begins with the visit of Sobia Rahman, Senior Vice President of Western Union.  This is followed by former pupil, Grace Lozinski, who will be speaking on taking a gap year and also on Parliament on 26th September.

10th October sees Sky News Correspondent, Ashish Joshi, speaking on careers in broadcasting and on 7th November another former Augustinian, Sepideh Dundon, will be speaking on her work at LinkedIn.

In the final two talks of the Michaelmas Term we will welcome Nina Scales, Senior Vice President, Global Content Distribution, Allspark (Hasbro Inc.) on 21st November and Ena Jawa, Lead Project manager at BBC Studios on 6th December.

We are privileged that so many excellent speakers come to talk to our Priory 6 and Upper V girls on potential careers and look forward to this term’s contributors with great anticipation.

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
