Miss S Nowakowska.

Miss Nowakowska joined St Augustine’s Priory this term as a teacher of PE.  We were delighted to welcome her and she has settled in and looks to be enjoying life here!  Miss Nowakowska has this to say:

‘I am very grateful to have been welcomed so kindly to the St Augustine’s Priory family. I am an Ealing girl and know how highly the school is regarded in the Borough. I really feel that this is an exceptional school set in beautiful grounds which cares for each and every one of its students. My role here is to cover for Mrs Gosling whilst she is on her maternity leave.

I have been teaching Physical Education for 15 years; after graduating from Brighton University, more years ago than it feels! I then spent 2 years teaching in a school in Essex before making the decision to teach abroad. I spent the next 12 years (despite thinking it would be 2!) teaching in a British School in Abu Dhabi.

I returned to the United Kingdom and Ealing to have my own children, twins born in 2016. I have been able to stay at home with my family for the last 2 years before joining St Augustine’s Priory in September this year.

I love sport, and have played a number of team games in my time, although finding time to do so these days is hard! I played for and coached the Abu Dhabi team which won the Intergulf International Tournament, have played County Hockey, Tennis and even played Cricket for Maldon Cricket Club in the past. I love Physical Education and the relationships forged through sport. I hope to see, teach and coach your daughter(s) in one of the numerous sporting activities at St Augustine’s Priory.’

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
