Our Michaelmas Term Programme.
Each term we are privileged to welcome to St Augustine’s Priory speakers from a range of professions who come to speak to our Priory 6 and Upper V pupils and give ideas and inspiration on career options. This term is no exception and we look forward to meeting an array of women at the top of their professions who will be sharing their knowledge and expertise in a wide range of fields with our girls.
Mr Ferguson, Careers Coordinator, has put together a fascinating programme of talks which covers a host of careers: on 20th September Karen Jacks, IT Director at law firm Bird and Bird, came to tell us about the many opportunities available in her field (see separate article). On 4th October we look forward to meeting Louise Simpson-Tarling, who works in Operations Management in the wine industry and on 18th October Anna Wood, Executive Director of Online Learning at Kings College will visit. After Half Term we will hear from Sam Carlisle, Director of Cause Communications who will be here on 15th November and our last speaker of the term is Nicola Cohen, Head of Change and Engagement HR at the bank, UBS, who will be here on 29th November.
We are delighted that our speakers this term can demonstrate to our pupils the many opportunities and the varied careers available; their input is highly valued.
