They say “take care of your body as it is the only place you will live in”. In similar spirit, St Augustine’s Priory celebrated Women’s Wellness Week which brought together issues regarding our bodies and minds and how to care for them. Students were invited to talks, workshops and activities that initiated conversations regarding nutrition, breaking taboos, pregnancy and global health, and to discuss these issues more openly. With prominent people like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also highlighting issues such as mental health and campaigning for more awareness, it is topical for our generation to address these matters and take charge of our wellbeing. This video captures students and speakers during the events.
