Society of Heads Exhibition 2018

A look back!

We are delighted to report that the Society of Heads Exhibition 2018 was a tremendous success.  Organised in collaboration with the City of London Freemen’s School and held in the Livery Hall at the Guildhall on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th January this brought together a cornucopia of art from schools around the country.

Mackenzie Parry-Bull, Upper VI leaver 2017, was awarded runner-up prize in the photography category and this work featured a Priory VI pupil.  Mackenzie’s piece was entitled ‘Diary of a Teenage Model’ and explores body issues and anxiety.  You may remember it from the Summer Arts Evening as the piece which was presented with diary entries in a white cabinet.

Ms Eng, Head of Art, commented ‘This was such a wonderful opportunity to exhibit our students’ wonderful work.  Their talent and commitment has made this occasion possible.  It was also great to welcome so many of our former pupils who are now studying Art, graphic design and related courses to the exhibition.’

Thank you to everyone who supported this event and to the Art Department students and staff, without which it would not have been possible.
