Experimental boating!
Science begins early at St Augustine’s Priory. From the Nursery the children learn about the principles of Biology, Physics and Chemistry, exploring, questioning and investigating the world around us.
Mrs Round, Form Teacher, Lower IIA, reports on the scientific experiments being conducted in the Junior School. Lower II have been sorting materials according to their properties, and carrying out investigations into the buoyancy of different materials, in order to determine which materials would be best to use for a model boat.
