Vegetables for sale!

Produce from our allotment

Next Wednesday, 4th October, is your chance to purchase some of the delicious vegetables produced in our allotment.  Join us after school in the Prep Playground to buy from a wide selection of goods, including, squash, beans, carrots, beetroot, cabbages, kale and chard.

Under the guidance of parents Mr Klein and Mrs Ransome pupils have been working hard all year, including over the summer holidays, and these edibles are the result!

The St Augustine’s Priory allotment is not just about tending, watering and nurturing plants – although that is an essential part.  It is also a great way to see biology in action, examining the life cycle of the vegetables until they come to fruition and are ready for eating!

We look forward to welcoming you to the Prep Playground next Wednesday for you to fill your shopping baskets.
