Game Changers of the Future

On Saturday 16th September Olivia Sparks, Form IIIA, achieved an impressive result in the Nike Mile Run, held in Richmond.  She came first in the Year 7 girls’ category and second in the Year 7 – 8 category, overall.  Mrs Sparks reports, ‘Olivia battled hard against the Year 7 – 8 boys and Year 9 – 11 girls who all started the race at the same time.  Olivia stood her ground and ran well.’

Mrs Gosling, Head of PE, commented, ‘What a fantastic result!  I look forward to hearing how she runs at the Ealing Mini Mile next weekend!’

We are pleased to sponsor the Ealing Mini Mile this year and many of our girls are taking part, including Olivia.  The event will take place on Saturday afternoon in Lammas Park, Ealing, from 1.00 – 4.00pm.  We look forward to seeing many parents and staff there to support everyone running!

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
