Meeting Members of Staff…

Office and Reception Area

Our new Reception area is proving to be very successful.  With a new, light, welcoming space we are enjoying this new facility and all it has to offer.  We thought that you would like to discover something about the staff you first meet when you enter St Augustine’s Priory!

Ms Jamini Ananthakumar is our new Office Manager and here introduces herself:

‘Hello, I am the new HR and Office Manager and here’s a little bit about myself. I have worked in HR for about ten years in the spheres of education and aviation and this has given me the opportunity to work with many different people, something which I love.

My main love and interests are my beautiful cat Poco and my dog Rio, I spend all my spare time with them and enjoy every minute!  I have been here a little over a week, and can already see what a beautiful culture St Augustine’s Priory’s has and am privileged to be a part of the team. I look forward to working with you all. Please do pop in and say hello when you can!’

Mrs Marion Eaton is our Receptionist and says:

‘Yesterday, I celebrated two years of working at St Augustine’s priory. From my first day I was made feel really welcome and it has been an enjoyable experience.  I started out here in a cosy small Reception and now I have been thoroughly spoiled and have a very large and grand Reception! It is such a bright, airy room and I have great views of our beautiful school. The Rose Garden is in full bloom. I am very lucky to work with a great team of people.

The best part of my job is being the first point of contact for the school. The most important part of my job is keeping our girls safe. It is a very interesting and  varied and  role. I have a lot of interaction with the girls and I find them polite, kind and friendly and are a pleasure to be with. I originally worked as a Business Manager for Lloyds Bank for 34 years. I am married with one daughter of whom I am very proud and very excited as she will be Graduating from Loughborough University next month.

Mrs Jess Malladi is another member of staff based in Reception,

‘I have been working for St Augustines Priory for about eight months now as a School Office Assistant/ Receptionist. I enjoy the variety of jobs I do, and find the school to be a pleasant and enjoyable place to work.  I have gained a lot of knowledge and skill whilst being here and will continue to develop in my pleasant surroundings. Formerly known as Miss King, (not to be confused with Ms M King!) I have recently got married, not once but twice, and enjoyed both weddings in the exotic places of India and Antigua and I am now known as Mrs Malladi.  (I hasten to add that both weddings were to the same husband!).

Sara Beltrami is our newest recruit and we welcome her from Italy, ‘Hello, I am Sara Beltrami. I am Italian and I am here at St Augustine’s Priory from 31st May to 28th July for an Internship, to improve my English and my knowledge but also to learn as much as possible from this school. My main interest is music, and I play the flute.  I hope to get the best from this experience and enjoy my time here in St Augustine’s Priory.’

We hope you enjoy meeting all these members of staff as you enter St Augustine’s Priory and our beautiful new Reception.

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
