Lisa McMullin, LAMDA Teacher

Ms Lisa McMullin is joining our team of LAMDA teachers and here introduces herself:

‘I’m delighted to be joining St Augustine’s Priory as a LAMDA teacher. The staff and students seem absolutely delightful! I’ve been teaching drama in schools in the UK for over a decade and am currently also joint Head of Drama (part time) at Greenacre School in Surrey. Before that I was Head of Drama and Theatre Studies at Caterham School, Surrey, and I’ve been preparing students for the LAMDA examinations for the past eight years.

From 2005 – 2007 I taught at St Andrews International School in Blantyre, Malawi and, whilst there, produced and directed a truly international cast of Malawian, British, American, South African and Swiss actors in Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing and Noises Off.

When not teaching, I’m a freelance writer and director  http://www.jflagency.com/?cat=5  and I’m also the co-founder of Rubber Duck Theatre. http://www.rubberducktheatre.com

Away from all things dramatic, I’ve been known to run the odd marathon but not very quickly!’

We would like to welcome Ms McMullin and hope that she will be very happy at St Augustine’s Priory!

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
