Carol Service Competition

Design a cover for our Order of Service

The St Augustine’s Priory Carol Service is one of the highlights of our year. Held at Ealing Abbey, this year the service is on Tuesday 13^th December at 7.30pm at Ealing Abbey.  Attended by forms Lower I – Upper VI, the Abbey is always packed as family members come to enjoy our choirs and orchestra and to hear the carols and readings that herald the coming of the Christ child.

For those of you who have attended in previous years, you will know that every girl and guest receives an Order of Service containing the words to the readings and carols, which is often kept as a souvenir of the occasion.

We always incorporate art work from the students in the booklets and this year will be no exception. But for this year we are holding an open competition for the design of the front cover of the Order of Service and invite girls to submit a drawing on the theme of ‘Stars and Light’.

So whether you are in Lower I or Upper VI, you have the opportunity to see your art work on the cover of this year’s Carol Service brochure.

Please submit your entries to your Form Teacher on Monday 14^th November on A4 paper (portrait orientation) with your name and form written on the back.  Your drawing may be in colour or black and white, but please do not use HB pencils – they do not reproduce well!
