The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

Our contribution to a great cause

The invitation to have a cup of coffee and a slice of cake is usually most welcome, and we hope you will accept our invitation to come to the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at St Augustine’s Priory on Friday 30th September at 8.40am.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support to help in their valuable work. As their website says, ‘One in three of us will get cancer, and it will be one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face. Our goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone. We provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. And because cancer affects more than just those facing it, we’re there for friends and family too. We are Macmillan.’

This year, Mrs Lozinski and Mrs de Rozarieux (Upper II parents) are spearheading the organisation of the coffee morning and are asking you all to be there!

The coffee morning will be held in the Pupils’ Refectory on Friday 30th September at 8.40am and we look forward to seeing you there.

If you are unable to attend we would welcome your donations, whether financial or in the form of cakes!

(All culinary donations should be brought in on the morning).

As Mrs Savic, our Registrar says, ‘I am looking forward to the coffee morning as I have seen the wonderful MacMillan nurses in action and I am happy to donate both financially and with muffins!’

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
