Form III makes a dramatic start to the term

Ms Brown, Head of Drama, relates how Form III started the year with a visit to the theatre, a wonderful way for them to add to the enjoyment of a new school year and for new and old pupils to form friendships!

‘On Wednesday 7th September, Form III went on a Drama visit to see the new West End smash hit musical ‘Aladdin’, at the Prince Edward Theatre.  The auditorium was a throng of excitement and the audience were bedazzled by spectacular sets and special effects; the flying carpet elicited gasps from the girls!

The show was a superb example of professional musical theatre performance and production values and it was fantastic to hear the girls critiquing its merits on our way home. It was a terrific bonding experience and we were delighted by the exemplary behaviour and mature attitude the girls upheld throughout.  A “Genie-us” start to the year!’

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
