Last Friday, Lower IV Alpha presented their assembly on the topic of Earth Day 2016. The theme of Earth Day this year is ‘Trees for Earth.’ The Earth Day Network has pledged to aim to plant 7.8 billion trees by 2020 – a tree for every person on Earth. The class were so inspired by what they learned about Earth Day that they started a petition online, urging our local government in Ealing to make a substantial tree planting commitment over the next four years.
We would like every person who is a part of our school community to help us by signing this petition, so we can show how serious we are about increasing the number of trees in the Ealing area. Please click on the link below to sign the petition and then share the link with your friends and family.
