Calling for Maths and Science videos!
Miss Hayden, Head of Physics, writes with news of an exciting competition for students in the Senior School aged 11 – 13 and 14 – 16:
‘Your Life’ is an industry-led and Government-supported campaign which aims to show the dynamic career opportunities unlocked by studying Maths and Science. They have just launched their annual Formula 100 Competition, the aim of which is the find the UK’s most creative and inventive young minds.
All students have to have to do enter is submit a 30 – 60 second video answering the following question:
“What would you invent and why?”
Entry is welcome from pupils aged 11 – 13 years old and also 14 – 16 years old.
Entries close on 10th April 2016.
The winning entries in each category will receive:
£1000 cash for the school and an iPad for the student
Plus… there are other exciting prizes to be won!
There are posters around the school with more details about how to enter, plus there in an information booklet and powerpoint to help you with your entry on the VLE under Physics – Competition.
