Lunches

At St Augustine’s Priory, we believe that nutritious, balanced meals play a vital role in supporting our pupils’ wellbeing and learning. Our school lunches are freshly prepared on-site each day, offering a variety of hot and cold options to suit different tastes and dietary needs. 

Lunch is a sociable and relaxed part of the school day, giving pupils time to recharge and connect with friends. While many families choose our cooked lunch option, pupils are also welcome to bring a packed lunch from home if preferred.

Monday

  • Soup of the Day: Tomato (Rich, plant-based, full-flavoured)
  • Main Meal: Potato, Paneer & Spinach in a Creamy Coconut Korma Sauce
  • Vegetarian Option: Chickpea & Potato Aloo
  • Sides: Fragrant Rice, Cumin Carrots, Green Beans
  • Desserts: Apple Purée & Yoghurt Pot, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Jelly
  • Available Daily: Salad bar, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and pasta with a choice of toppings

Tuesday

  • Soup of the Day: Red Lentil
  • Main Meal: Garlic Rosemary Roasted Chicken Thigh
  • Vegetarian Option: Spelt & Mushroom Risotto with Herbs & Roasted Garlic
  • Sides: Brown Rice, Herbed New Potatoes, Garden Peas, Roasted Beetroot
  • Desserts: Ice Cream Pot, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Jelly

Wednesday

  • Main Meal: Traditional Beef Spaghetti Bolognese
  • Vegetarian Option: Lentil Bolognese with Penne Pasta
  • Sides: Homemade Garlic Bread, Roasted Sweetcorn & Peas
  • Desserts: McFlurry, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Jelly

Thursday

  • Main Meal: Honey & Orange Glazed Gammon with Onion Gravy
  • Vegetarian Option: Lentil & Bean Cottage Pie
  • Sides: Creamy Mashed Potato, Roasted Mixed Vegetables
