Headteacher

Mrs Christine Macallister BA, ACA has been Headteacher of St Augustine’s Priory since April 2023. A graduate from the University of Durham with a first-class BA (Hons) degree in Combined Arts (Music, English and Management), Mrs Macallister trained with PwC and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She followed a career in business and finance with several international corporations including Disney International Television in London and Verizon in Hong Kong, before gaining a PGCE in Business and Economics from the Institute of Education, University College London. 

Mrs Macallister is also an independent member of AQA’s Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, providing her with a detailed understanding of current and future initiatives in public examinations.  Mrs Macallister has experience in building and leading teams from diverse backgrounds and is interested in social teaching and our responsibilities in education to send young women out to change the world.

Absences

If you wish to report an absence due to illness, or  your child has an appointment and will be late into school or needs to be collected during the school day for an external appointment, please email attendance@sapriory.com.
