An individual approach
We have been delighted to receive applications from so many intelligent, caring, ambitious young women during this year’s selection process. Many of these girls discovered the exceptional characteristics of St Augustine’s Priory by visiting our Open Day last October. The event attracted significant numbers of prospective Augustinians, who contributed to a dynamic atmosphere, and a day that was both informative and enjoyable for all.
Spring presents a second opportunity for interested parties to experience the magic of St Augustine’s Priory and to do so through a slightly more intimate encounter. Our forthcoming Open Day on Saturday 5th March offers our visitors a relaxed environment in which prospective pupils and parents will receive a warm, more personal introduction to our familial community.
Our focus on the whole girl facilitates an effective balance between academic rigour and pastoral care. This focus underpins everyday life at St Augustine’s Priory, and it is this to which our Spring Open Day gives insight. Senior staff will be available to discuss ways in which we provide girls with the physical, mental and emotional space to grow intellectually, in an environment which offers both support and challenge.
Subject specialists will also listen to the interests and ambitions of girls, and discuss the available resources which are of particular relevance to individuals. Girls may wish to glean further details in reference to the syllabus, while parents have the opportunity to discuss with the teaching faculty our excellent results.
We pride ourselves on instilling in girls a love of learning, and are committed to preparing girls for lifelong happiness and success. The Spring Open Day facilitates girls’ and parents’ insights to this culture, in addition to some deserved respite, provided in the heart of London by our 13 acres of beautiful grounds.
